• COD Exclusions & Operational Locks: Certain bespoke or high-value items are strictly excluded from the COD facility. Due to periods of high order volume or specific inventory demands, KraftedKey reserves the absolute right to lock the COD gateway entirely or cancel any placed COD orders at our sole discretion.

2. Mandatory 2-Step Verification Process

To prevent fraudulent automated orders and ensure operational fluidity, every COD order undergoes a strict mandatory verification process before entering our production pipeline:

1. Step 1 (Automated Verification): Upon placement, an automated verification prompt (via IVR call, SMS, or WhatsApp) will be sent to confirm your intent to purchase.
2. Step 2 (Manual Operations Check): Our risk assessment team manually evaluates the order details. Production on customized or personalized items will strictly begin *only* after successful completion of this 2-step validation. Unverified orders will be automatically purged from our system after 48 hours.

3. Delivery Attempts & Strict Non-Acceptance Policy

Because our custom jewelry involves significant craftsmanship, time, and material costs, we enforce a zero-tolerance policy against malicious or negligent order rejections:

• Three (3) Delivery Attempts: Our courier partners will make up to three (3) consecutive attempts to deliver your package. It is the customer's responsibility to remain reachable via the contact number provided.
• Consequences of Rejection / Non-Responsiveness: If a customer fails to respond after 3 delivery attempts, explicitly rejects the parcel at the doorstep, or is unavailable, the order will be processed as a hostile Return to Origin (RTO).
• Permanent COD Blacklist: Any customer who rejects or fails to accept a verified COD order will be **permanently disqualified and blocked** from using the Cash on Delivery payment facility for all future orders with KraftedKey. Subsequent purchases must be strictly prepaid.
• Cancellation Penalties (Orders up to ₹499): For low-value orders up to ₹499, if a delivery is refused or canceled post-dispatch, the customer remains legally liable to clear a standard cancellation/logistics recovery charge before any future account activity is authorized.

4.1 Is Cash on Delivery available for all pin codes?

Our COD facility is highly integrated across India. However, restriction boundaries depend entirely on our courier partners. You can instantly verify your pin code's COD eligibility directly at the checkout step.

4.2 Can I open the package and inspect the jewelry before paying?

No. Courier delivery executives operate under strict transit laws and are legally unauthorized to open parcels or allow product inspections prior to collecting the full cash payment. To protect your purchase against transit errors, please accept the parcel, pay the agent, and record a continuous, unedited Unboxing Video to easily claim replacements under our standard Returns & Refunds Policy.

4.3 Are there extra logistics fees for choosing Cash on Delivery?
