1. Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to outline the transparent shipping and delivery procedures of KraftedKey. We are committed to delivering premium, handcrafted customized products to our customers across India. This document serves to manage expectations regarding our bespoke crafting timelines, dispatch schedules, and the handling of any transit-related inquiries.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all orders placed through the KraftedKey website or official sales channels. It covers all custom categories, including but not limited to Custom Name Jewelry, Drinkware, and Personalized Labels.


3. Dispatch Guidelines & Crafting Timelines

At KraftedKey, every personalized product is meticulously crafted to order. Maintaining the "KraftedKey Standard" involves precision cutting, premium plating, and rigorous quality checks that cannot be rushed.

  • Standard Dispatch Window: While we strive to dispatch orders as efficiently as possible, our strict minimum crafting period is 10 to 12 working days before the item is handed over to our courier partners.
  • Handcrafted Nature: Because your items are made entirely from scratch specifically for you, this processing time is essential to ensure the premium finish, durability, and aesthetic standards you expect from our brand.
  • Address Modifications: Any requests to change the shipping address must be submitted to our support team within 24 hours of order placement. Once production begins, shipping details cannot be altered.

4. Delivery Logistics & Courier Partners

Once your order has passed our final quality assurance check and is dispatched from our workshop, the following delivery terms apply:

  • Service Area: We proudly ship Pan India, covering virtually all pin codes serviced by major domestic logistics networks.
  • Transit Time: Following the 10-12 day crafting period, transit typically takes 3 to 4 working days to reach your doorstep, depending on your location (Metros vs. Tier 2/Tier 3 cities).
  • Order Tracking: Upon dispatch, you will receive an automated tracking link via email/SMS, allowing you to monitor your package's journey in real-time through our integrated logistics dashboard.

5. In-Transit Issues & Protections

KraftedKey takes responsibility for your bespoke pieces until they reach your doorstep. However, specific protocols must be followed to qualify for transit-related claims:

5.1 Lost Shipments

  • Standard Coverage: Shipments with an invoice value below β‚Ή2,500 are fully covered for loss during transit. If confirmed lost by the courier partner, the full amount will be credited to the customer’s KraftedKey Wallet for future purchases.
  • High-Value Coverage: For orders exceeding β‚Ή2,500, claims are subject to a mandatory internal investigation with the logistics provider before any wallet credit or replacement is authorized.

5.2 Damaged or Missing Products

  • Notification Period: Any damage or missing items must be reported to return@kraftedkey.com strictly within 3 days (72 hours) of delivery.
  • Mandatory Requirement: In accordance with our Returns Policy, a continuous, unedited Unboxing Video is legally required to process any claims for damage or missing items. Claims submitted without valid video evidence will be automatically rejected.

5.3 Tampered Packages

  • KraftedKey Standard: We never dispatch products in tampered, unsealed, or damaged packaging.
  • Customer Action: If the parcel appears to be tampered with, torn, or crushed at the time of delivery, the customer must refuse to accept the package from the delivery executive.
  • Liability: Once a tampered package is accepted and signed for by the customer, KraftedKey cannot be held liable for any missing or damaged items inside.

6. Address & Delivery Attempts

  • Accuracy: It is the customer's strict responsibility to provide a correct, complete shipping address (including a landmark) and a responsive mobile number.
  • Delivery Attempts: Our courier partners will attempt delivery up to three (3) times. If the customer is unreachable or unavailable after these attempts, the parcel will be marked as RTO (Return to Origin) and sent back to our facility.
  • Re-shipping (RTO): In cases where a package is returned to us due to customer unavailability, incorrect address, or refusal to accept, an additional re-shipping fee will be applied to dispatch the bespoke item a second time.

7. Definitions

  • Dispatch: The point at which the product leaves the KraftedKey workshop and is handed over to the courier partner.
  • Delivery: The point at which the courier physically hands the package to the customer or their authorized representative.
  • Working Days: Monday through Saturday, strictly excluding Sundays and National/Public Holidays.
  • KraftedKey Wallet: A digital store credit system linked directly to the customer's registered account.

8. Compliance & Legal Considerations

  • Force Majeure: KraftedKey shall not be held responsible for transit delays caused by natural disasters, severe weather, regional strikes, or unforeseen government restrictions.
  • Policy Changes: KraftedKey reserves the right to modify this policy at any time without prior notice. The version actively published on the website at the time of order placement will govern the transaction.
